DES MOINES, Iowa – The throwers from the Drake University men's track and field team dominated the field in the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships with freshman taking home first place after throwing 217 feet 6 inches at Drake Stadium on Friday, May 13. The Drake men's track & field currently sits in second place overall in the team standings with 38 points trailing only Illinois State (45).
(204-6) finished second with sophomore close behind in third (199-8) while freshman snagged fourth (197-2). Rounding out the day for Drake was sophomore who ended the day in 12th place after throwing 174-11.
