FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Drake University track & field team saw several student-athletes set personal bests at the John McDonnell Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas at John McDonnell Field April 7-8.
The hammer throw events took place a day earlier on Thursday, April 7. (62.87m/206-3), (58.65m/192-5), (57.60m/189-0) and (53.94m/177-0) all set outdoor personal bests in the men's hammer throw.
In the women's hammer throw, (56.88m/186-77) recorded her season best for fourth place while (53.23m/174-7) finished in seventh place.
won the men's 3000-meter steeplechase by over 17 seconds with a time of 9:06.
