Ames, Iowa – The Drake University volleyball team stormed back for a thrilling five-set victory to defeat Wright State (17-25, 25-21, 24-26, 26-24, 15-10) at the Cardinal & Gold Challenge inside Hilton Coliseum on Friday, Sept. 9. The Bulldogs improved to 6-2 overall while the Raiders dropped to 5-2.
"That's a big-time win for our program against a really good team," head coach said. "I'm really proud of our team. We started off behind, but bit by bit got better and chipped away throughout the night."
After dropping the first set, 25-17, Drake once again bounced back in set two.
