DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake University athletic department welcomed back nearly 400 student-athletes and staff to back to campus to celebrate the 2017-18 season and kickoff the 2018-19 academic and athletic season.
Director of Athletics Brian Hardin began the reflection, acknowledging the Bulldogs' five conference championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances in 2017-18, along with the department's impressive accomplishments in the classroom and community.
In continuing to honor the accomplishments of the 2017-18 season, the department's annual award winners were also announced as individual accomplishments from the tremendous season were recognized and celebrated.
