ASUZA, Calif. – The Drake University track and field team finished the second stage of a split weekend with a selection of athletes competing in California. The Bulldogs posted some solid results at both the Bryan Clay Invitational and Beach Invitational.
At the Bryan Clay Invitational, the Drake distance runners performed well with a handful of top 20 finishers. Isaac Basten came across the finish line in 18th-place in the 1,500-meter invite with a time of 3:40.11. Brogan Giffin earned a 13th-place finish in the open division of the men's 1,500m with a time of 3:46.
