ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Drake University rowing team competed in two races at Head of the Rock Regatta on the Rock River Sunday, Oct. 9.
"It was a good day for us with beautiful weather," head coach Charlie DiSilvestro said. "Our novices got a bronze medal while our varsity racers were really good too. I'm very happy with how we performed today."
Caitlin Figge, Gracie Joblinske, Claire Mulder, Erika Roehrs, Allyson Afrank, Avery Dolphin, Claire Martin, Brianna Hudson and Ella Bloom earned bronze in the women's collegiate novice 8 with a time of 23:06.
