Drake University redshirt-senior goalkeeper Jared Brown earned Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.
Brown recorded 10 saves in two matches between five days. He recorded a season high of eight saves against St. Thomas, which was the most in a match for him since 2018. Brown also leads the Bulldogs defensive efforts this season.
He currently leads the MVC in most saves, goals against average, and shutouts per game.
