Box Score CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Senior Alyssa Brand (Skokie, Ill.) scored in the 75th minute for the Drake University women's soccer team in a 2-1 comeback win over UNI Wednesday, Oct. 17 evening.
Drake (6-8-1, 3-1-1 MVC) fell behind early as the Bulldogs allowed an own goal in the sixth minute. However, an own goal by UNI (7-7-2, 2-3-1 MVC) early in the second half evened the score in the midweek Missouri Valley Conference match.
Drake, which outshot the Panthers, 16-10 (10-9 in shots on goal), continually pushed the pace and had several quality looks.
