ST. LOUIS – Grace Berg of the Drake University women's basketball team has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week, the MVC announced Monday, Nov. 30
Berg, a forward, poured in a career-high 24 points in her debut in the win over Creighton. The Indianola native and Missouri transfer finished 10-of-18 from the floor with two three-pointers and added seven rebounds and dished three assists. She followed that with 10 points and three rebounds against Green Bay.
