DES MOINES, Iowa -- Drake men's tennis head coach Ben Lott has resigned from his position, Drake Athletics announced Wednesday, March 13.
An alumnus of the men's tennis program at Drake, Lott served as assistant coach for the Bulldogs from 2019-22. He was appointed head coach at his alma mater August 21, 2023.
Drake registered an 8-4 record this season and was 1-0 in Summit League play when Lott stepped down. Athletics Director Brian Hardin has appointed Drake women's tennis head coach Breaunna Addison as Interim Director of Tennis. In addition to Addison, former men's tennis volunteer coach Aaron Forsberg has returned to assist the men's team.
