BOSTON, Mass. -- Isaac Basten will represent Drake track & field and the Missouri Valley Conference at the NCAA indoor track & field championships March 8-9.
Basten, the MVC men's mile record holder will compete on Friday in the men's mile prelim at 3 p.m. (CT) at The Track at New Balance The senior set the MVC mile record of 3:53.54 at the 2024 Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invite on Feb. 9.
He has claimed eight MVC titles at the MVC Indoor Championships after earning gold in the mile at the 2024 MVC Indoor Championships.
