CHICAGO -- The Drake University track & field programs concluded the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships with a pair of podium appearances at Gately Park on Monday (Feb. 27).
Isaac Basten became the MVC men's mile champion with a time of 14:13.34, nearly a second ahead of the second place finisher.
After earning a bronze medal the day before in the women's 5000m, Brooke Mullins shattered her 3000m personal best with a time of 9:28.71. That time also moves her into second in the Drake women's indoor track & field record book.
