GREENWOOD, Ind. – Drake University track & field student-athlete Isaac Basten earned a spot on the Academic All-District Men's Track & Field Team, selected by CoSIDA. The award recognizes athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom
The CoSIDA Academic All-District teams include the student-athletes are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
Basten, a junior data analytics major with a 3.42 grade point average was recently recognized by the Missouri Valley Conference on the track & field Scholar-Athlete team.
The Buffalo, Minn., native placed first in the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Cross Country Championship and in the 1500m run at the 2022 MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
