STILLWATER, Okla. – Isaac Basten represented the Drake cross country team at the NCAA Cross Country National Championships at the Greiner Family Cross Country Course Saturday, Nov. 19.
Basten returned to the National Championships after placing ninth at the Midwest Regional. The Buffalo, Minn., native finished in 192nd place with a 10K time of 30:58.0.
"It was a tough day in Stillwater," head coach Jay Koloseus said. "The pace went out fast. That coupled with the hills and two 10K races in quick succession made it quite difficult.
