DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake University men's basketball team opens the 2019-20 season Thursday, Nov. 7, evening against visiting Kennesaw State at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. Thursday's season opener is also part of the Bulldogs' Military Appreciation Weekend with members of the military eligible to receive up to four free tickets by showing their military ID at the Drake Athletic Ticket Office.
Prior to the start of the game, the Bulldogs will also unveil the newest addition to the Knapp Center, the 2018-19 Missouri Valley Conference Championship banner.
Drake raises that banner after a 24-win season in 2018-19 and the program's first MVC title since 2008.
