Drake University women's soccer assistant goalkeepers coach Josh Purdum has accepted an assistant coach position with the Eastern Kentucky University women's soccer team, Drake head coach Lindsey Horner announced Friday, May 27.
"We are thrilled for Josh to take the next step in his career at EKU," said Horner. "He was a great addition to our program. Not only did our goalkeepers benefit from his knowledge and passion for the position, but our entire team valued his energy, feedback and drive for excellence. A part of me hates to lose great coaches like Josh from our staff, but at the same time they are deserving of the next challenge in their career and I'm confident that Josh is ready to excel in his new position.
