ST. LOUIS, Mo. – For the first time in Pioneer Football League history more than 700 student-athletes were named to the PFL Academic Honor Roll. The Drake football team accounted for 76 of the honorees.
The 725 student-athletes recognized broke the previous record of 663 set during the Fall 2021 season. The league average of 65.9 student-athletes per school also broke a record set following the Spring 2021 season.
In addition to St. Thomas (79) and Davidson (75), Dayton (77), Drake (76), and Butler (70) saw at least 70 of their student-athletes named to the honor roll.
