Detroit — Here and there, he looks like the Jordan Zimmermann of yesteryear.
Wednesday was not one of those games.
Zimmermann was socked for a pair of runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings as the White Sox tipped the Tigers, 6-5, at Comerica Park.
After falling into a 2-0 hole, the Tigers scrambled for three runs in the third to take a 3-2 lead, thanks to Grayson Greiner's double, singles from Jose Iglesias and Nick Castellanos, a walk, and a hit batsman.

But in the fourth, Matt Davidson smashed a two-run homer against Zimmermann, which was followed in the fifth by another two-run shot, a 434-foot blast by Jose Abreu, and that was enough to deliver the White Sox a series win.
