Woman struck at Comerica released from hospital

It’s not good to see, Anthony Gose said.

“She probably won’t come to another baseball game ever again,” he said.

But there was good news this afternoon about the woman who was struck in the side of the head by a Gose foul ball in the eighth inning of Friday night’s Tigers-Rangers game at Comerica Park.

The woman, who has not been identified by the Tigers, was released from the hospital early this morning, according to the team. There was no update on her condition but general manager Al Avila said he was told she is doing well.
