White Sox 10, Tigers 9 (F/12): The Tigers made me sad

The Tigers decided to spend several hours torturing Tigers fans everywhere by bleeding away a 7-0 lead through the efforts of the bullpen. The Chicago White Sox furiously rallied all game long and finally tied it in the ninth to send the game to extras, where Anibal Sanchez ceded the winning run after several heroic innings of work.

The Tigers pounded James Shields early, paced by a lead-off dinger from Ian Kinsler. Miguel Cabrera and J.D. Martinez also did heavy damage in the early innings as the Tigers made Shields wish he was back in the friendly confines of the NL West.
