DETROIT - Video that surfaced on social media over the weekend shows a Comerica Park employee spitting in a pizza.
Nell May posted the video to Instagram on Saturday, Sept. 22. It shows an employee spitting on a pizza crust and then rubbing the sauce in with it.
The incident occurred on Friday night during the Detroit Tigers game against the Kansas City Royals, according to the Associated Press.
According to WXYZ in Detroit, the man has been arrested and is expected to be arraigned.
Detroit Sportservice, which provides food service at the ballpark, released a statement regarding the incident.
