Christin Stewart hasn’t had too many hits in his first full season with the Tigers, but they all seem to be big ones. The power-hitting left-fielder was well seasoned by his minor league tenure however, and we’ve been very confident that there would be plenty of dynamite mixed in with some rookie struggles at the plate.
All we can say, is that when he comes though, he comes through in a big way.
Stewart’s first homer of the year was a game-winner in the 10th inning against Toronto on Opening Day. The second came on Saturday as Daniel Norris and Victor Alcantara lost an early Tigers lead.
