DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers will be without two regular starters when they play the Minnesota Twins in the series finale Sunday at Comerica Park.
First baseman Miguel Cabrera, who left Saturday's game with lower back or hip tightness, is out another day. So is Ian Kinsler, who was hit on the hand by a pitch on Saturday. Kinsler remained in the game, but Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said there was swelling on Sunday morning.
John Hicks will play first base and Andrew Romine will be at second base on Sunday. Center fielder Mikie Mahtook will move up to hit in the lead-off spot.
