It would appear the MLB are already trying to drive excitement for next season. First they released the 2019 regular season schedule a month earlier than usual, and now they have everyone scrambling to plan their trips to Florida and Arizona by releasing the 2019 spring training schedule a full three months earlier than last year.
The biggest thing to note for the Tigers this season isn’t one of the scheduled games, but one that isn’t. The spring season doesn’t kick off with the typical exhibition game against the Florida Southern College Moccasins. Instead, on February 22 they will play an exhibition game against the Southeastern University Fire baseball team.
