The Detroit Tigers announced today that second baseman Ian Kinsler has been reinstated from the disabled list and that outfielder JaCoby Jones has been optioned to Triple-A Toledo.
Kinsler will be in the lineup tonight when the Tigers host the Angels at 7:10.
The Tigers also announced that catcher James McCann will begin a rehab assignment tonight with the Mud Hens.

Tigers manager Brad Ausmus had previously said both Kinsler and McCann would be activated today. Kinsler went on the DL with a hamstring injury May 27 in Chicago.
McCann went on the DL May 26.
