Daniel Norris struggled, allowing four runs on six hits in five innings of work. The outing raised his season-long ERA to 5.24, and he suffered his sixth loss of the season. The Mud Hens’ bullpen continued to leak runs after Norris departed, with both Dustin Molleken and Angel Nesbitt allowing multiple runs over a combined three innings of work. Toledo’s offense did their best to keep the pitching staff in the game, but came up just short in a five-run ninth.
