Tigers prospect Kyle Funkhouser dominates in rehab start for Double-A Erie

The Indians chipped away at Spenser Watkins and Co. for the first seven innings of Sunday’s contest, opening up a 6-0 lead without scoring more than two runs in a single frame. Watkins departed after five innings and four runs allowed, including two homers. John Schreiber and Zac Reininger both allowed a run in relief before Toledo finally got on the board in the bottom of the seventh via a Kody Eaves two-run homer, his first of the year with the Mud Hens. Victor Reyes recorded a hit and scored a run.
