RBI triples from Daz Cameron and Willi Castro gave the Mud Hens a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fourth, but a pair of minor league veterans delivered for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in the later innings to deliver Toledo a loss. Cliff Pennington homered off the newly promoted Trent Szkutnik in the top of the seventh to tie the score at three, and Brad Miller gave the RailRiders the lead with an RBI single in the eighth. The Mud Hens put a runner on in the ninth, but could not capitalize.
