Tigers prospect Beau Burrows has strong outing in rehab start for Double-A Erie

Tyler Alexander struck out 12 hitters in a dominant seven-inning performance against the Red Wings on Saturday. Alexander allowed just two hits and two walks across his seven frames to pick up his second win of the year. The Mud Hens were able to scratch across a couple of early runs, one off the bat of Daz Cameron, and Alexander and the bullpen made the slim lead stand up. Victor Reyes continued to swing a hot bat, collecting two hits.
