Tigers pitching Chris Bosio will miss today's game with illness

CLEVELAND -- Detroit Tigers pitching coach Chris Bosio will miss Tuesday's game after he started to feel unwell on Monday.

Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire said doctors were running tests, but declined to be more specific.

Tigers bullpen coach Rick Anderson will move into the dugout and serve as pitching coach. Tigers roving minor-league instructor A.J. Sager, who lives in Toledo, drove over to Cleveland and will serve as bullpen coach on Tuesday.

"(Bosio) started feeling not-good last night. He went to see the doctors and they're running some tests on him," Gardenhire said. "We'll see how he does and they'll let us know.
