Kissimmee, Fla. -- Tigers center fielder Cameron Maybin suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left wrist Wednesday when he was hit by a 95-mph fastball from Yankees Luis Severino in Tampa.
The Tigers expect Maybin to miss four to six weeks.
Maybin had a CT scan on the wrist Thursday.
“He said he felt pretty good this morning, felt like it was just a bruise,” manager Brad Ausmus said Thursday, before the Tigers played the Braves in Kissimmee.
Ausmus found out later it was not just a bruise.
