Tigers' Lorenzen keeps game close, but NL rallies to snap All-Star Game streak

Seattle – Elias Díaz hit a two-run homer off Félix Bautista in the eighth inning after Tigers pitcher Michael Lorenzen kept the National League off the board in the seventh inning, as the NL snapped a nine-game losing streak in the All-Star Game with a 3-2 win over the American League on Tuesday night.

Lorenzen entered the game when Toronto reliever Jordan Romano left in the seventh inning after throwing a pitch that Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit foul and was originally ruled fair. Romano threw five pitches before leaving the game with tightness in his back.
