Tigers Injury Update: Parker Meadows rehab, helpful Paul Sewald progress, Jason Foley

It's been exactly one month since Parker Meadows last appeared in a game for the Detroit Tigers, but the team has finally cleared him to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo.

The center fielder, who is recovering from a right quad strain, passed a full-speed running test on Tuesday to clear the final hurdle before beginning his minor league rehab stint. Per a report from Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press, Meadows is set to play Toledo's Wednesday home game against St. Paul (Minnesota Twins).

There is still no timeline for Meadows' return to the Tigers, as manager AJ Hinch told reporters the plan is to go "day by day" to see how much he can handle.
