Hopefully, Tarik Skubal's mom wasn't watching on ESPN as her son pitched in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game at Truist Field in Atlanta – not because of the two-run double he gave up to Ketel Marte in the first inning, but because of the choice word he uttered when he did.
Suffice it to say, Skubal's All-Star start didn't go as planned. After surrendering a pair of runs on three hits in a 19-pitch first inning against the National League squad, Skubal vented his frustrations in the form of an expletive – an expletive that made it onto the live FOX broadcast due to the fact that he was mic'd up for the entirety of his start.
