Josh Naylor has seen the Tigers more than almost any other team in his career, owing to his five seasons as a Guardian. He hasn't exactly crushed them (.234 average, .749 OPS in 43 games), but the familiarity has to make him a little more comfortable as he's been facing them in the ALDS as a member of the Mariners. Besides, old rivalries die hard.
Naylor was silent through the first three games of the ALDS, hitless in 13 at-bats with just one walk, but he woke up in a big way in Game 4, collecting three hits, including a double.
