DETROIT -- In a rebuilding season, many of the Detroit Tigers' top promotions will look to the past.
The 50-year anniversary of the 1968 World Series championship team and upcoming Hall of Fame inductions of Alan Trammell and Jack Morris highlight the events this summer.
The Tigers released their promotional giveaway schedule this week.
The Tigers will retire Morris' No. 47 on Aug. 12 against the Minnesota Twins, Morris' second team.
Tramell's No. 3 will be retired on Aug. 26 against the Chicago White Sox.
The Tigers will give away replica jerseys of the honorees for each game.
