Back in early October we brought you the news that the Connecticut Tigers — the Class A short season affiliate of the Tigers — were on the hunt for a new team name and had opened it up to voting.
Yes, the Norwich Narwhals had a great alliteration, but in our heart of hearts I think we all knew there was only one clear winner in the list, and it was not the Mill Mules or Golden Roses.
After all the votes had been tallied, a winner was selected, and that winner was: the Norwich Sea Unicorns.
