On Monday, left-fielder Christin Stewart is slated to make his starting debut in the Detroit Tigers outfield. The Tigers also recalled reliever Zac Reininger, and catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia, moving pitcher Artie Lewicki to the 60-day disabled list to open a 40-man roster spot for the veteran catcher. Apart from Stewart, this isn’t a very scintillating group of additions, but it looks like more help is on the way from Toledo.
Per a report from Evan Woodbery of MLive, the Tigers will also add a pair of interesting pitching prospects on Tuesday.
