Chicago – Disappointing. Disturbing. Discouraging.
The Tigers continue to spin their wheels. After losing two of three to the cellar-dwelling Twins at Comerica Park, they dropped two more Sunday to a White Sox team that is dealing with internal issues and has all but cashed in their chips on the 2016 season.
Unacceptable.
Even a remarkable rally in the ninth inning couldn't save them in the series finale, losing 5-4 on a walk-off RBI by Melky Cabrera.
It was the second walk-off punch the Tigers took Sunday.
Adam Eaton hit a walk-off single to win the suspended game 4-3 in the ninth inning.
