SeaWolves win on a Josh Lester walkoff single

Relievers Henry Martinez and Drew Carlton couldn’t hold a late lead as the Clippers took the first of six from the Hens on Tuesday in Columbus. The Hens built a slim lead in the first on RBI singles from Grayson Greiner and Kody Clemens. It was another bullpen game, and Wladimir Pinto allowed a solo shot in the bottom of the first, but came back with a pair of clean innings. Another RBI single from Clemens re-opened a two run lead in the third and Renato Nuñez homered in the sixth to make it 4-1 Hens. The Clippers’ Andres Gimenez had the big hit in their comeback, a two-run double in the seventh against Martinez.
