The Detroit Tigers announced most of their roster pool for the 2020 season on Sunday afternoon. Out of the 60 players combined they can take on the major league roster and the taxi squad backup squad, the club has selected 58 players thus far. They’ll have the opportunity to round out their choices this week.
First overall pick Spencer Torkelson is expected to sign for a record-breaking signing bonus, and will undoubtedly find himself included on the taxi squad. That leaves one more available spot for the Tigers to make selection or sign an additional player.
