Detroit – The Tigers are in an odd spot going into the Winter Meetings, which run Monday through Thursday in San Diego.
They aren’t going to be sellers, as they had been the last few years when they were trying to off-load expensive veteran players. And, given where they are in the rebuild and the consequental payroll restrictions, they aren’t going to be major buyers, either.
