ATLANTA — Major League Baseball’s RBI program — Revive Baseball in the Inner cities — is returning to Flint.

A year after starting the Flint Jackson Park RBI program, MLB will provide a boost to the league on Saturday morning at Eagle’s Nest Academy with a "Play Ball" event. The event runs from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and registration is available at playball.org/events.

“We’re extremely excited to go back to Flint,” Tony Reagins, MLB’s executive vice president of baseball and softball development said. “In the past year, we established the RBI program that we felt was important, not only from a grassroots standpoint, but also for affordable league play.
