MLB offseason begins: 131 players become free agents

With the World Series over, free-agent season has officially begun.

A total of 131 players have become free agents, led by Gerrit Cole, Anthony Rendon and Madison Bumgarner. An additional 53 more potentially are eligible pending decisions on team, player and mutual options during the next few days.
