MLB Draft 2018: Who the Tigers selected in Day 2

DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers added three pitchers, three outfielders and two infielders on the second day of the 2018 MLB Draft.

They started Day 2 by selecting University of Texas second baseman Kody Clemens, son of seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens.

They also added outfielder Kingston Liniak of Mission Hills, Calif., who retweeted a report that he was seeking a $1 million bonus, about double the slot value of the pick. The Tigers could make that up by paying Clemens less than the slot value for his spot.

The complete list of drafted players is below with comments from Tigers amateur scouting director Scott Pleis:

Round (overall) selection

3 (79): 2B Kody Clemens, University of Texas

"Obviously Kody comes from a great baseball family and has great baseball knowledge.
