CHICAGO -- Mike Aviles says he's fine.
Speaking to reporters Tuesday after the Detroit Tigers' 11-8 win over the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field, Aviles said an X-ray on his left wrist showed no break.
He called it a relief after catching his glove on the ground at third base on a ground ball off the bat of Jose Abreu to lead off the eighth inning.
Tigers manager Brad Ausmus pulled him after out of precaution but could not provide an update immediately after the game.
"Kind of like a sprain-ish type deal," Aviles said.
