The Hens rallied for a comeback victory in a low scoring Game 1 on Thursday.
Austin Bergner got the start, and he gave the Hens three innings of one run ball, allowing just a Matt Gorski solo shot. Jordan Balazovic took over for two innings to get through the fifth with only one run on the board for Indy.
The offense was really quiet, but Bligh Madris led off the fifth inning with a solo shot for his third homer of the season. With one out, Ryan Kreidler was hit by a pitch and then stole second base.
