Lakeland, Fla. — Major League Baseball announced Thursday it has suspended all spring training games and will delay the start of the regular season at least two weeks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Teams are expected to remain bunkered at their spring training complexes. It is unclear if they will continue daily workouts and practices.
Spring training games will be canceled after 4 p.
