Top 7th: Tigers get four more
The Tigers padded their lead in the top of the seventh, on a wild pitch from Drew Smyly. With two outs, James McCann was on third (walk, fielder's choice, sacrifice) and Cameron Maybin on first (walk). Smyly threw one past Hank Conger, scoring McCann. Miguel Cabrera then walked, putting two back on with two outs. Victor Martinez followed with a three-run home run off reliever Danny Farquhar. Going to the bottom of the seventh, the Tigers lead 7-0.
Bottom 6th: Fulmer gets ninth strikeout
Tigers ace Michael Fulmer issued his first walk of the game -- to Oswaldo Arcia -- to lead off the bottom of the sixth.
