Bottom 3rd: Pelfrey calms down
Tigers starter Mike Pelfrey walked Dioner Navarro to lead off the bottom of the third inning. After Brett Lawrie flew out to center fielder Cameron Maybin, Pelfrey was able to get Avasail Garcia to ground into a broken bat fielder's choice, retiring Navarro. J.B. Shuck grounded out to second baseman Ian Kinsler, ending the inning and stranding a baserunner. After three, the White Sox lead the Tigers, 1-0.
